Phoenix Rising - Phoenix Rising is one of my original pieces for the Nature Wins exhibit.  For me, the Phoenix represents humankind once we have returned to nature, we can rise up and be as one with the earth as it was always intended. There is a human face combined with the face of two birds.  As we rise from the ashes of destruction that we have created and have destroyed ourselves, we realize that we only rise once we re-establish our connection to nature.

Phoenix Rising is made from a recycled floor lamp, chicken wire, shredded junkmail, cardboard and packing paper.
